Top Speed of the Can-Am Commander 800 & 800R XT The Can-Am Commander 800R and 800R XT top speed is about 70 MPH. Again, your environment and modifications can affect the top speed you experience.

          Can

Common Can-Am Commander Issues Not just because it looks great, but literally, physically hot. Older models of the Commander had the engine and exhaust placed in the mid/front of the cab. Both of these pieces produce tremendous amounts of heat, making the cab unbearable in warmer climates.

What does DPS do on Can

GREATER CONTROL: Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS). The dynamic power steering set-up delivers easy, direct speed-sensitive steering assistance, with more power at lower speeds to reduce steering effort and less at higher speeds for maximum steering feel to the rider.

What is the difference between Commander DPS and XT?

The Commander XT has a few more premium features than the DPS. It is also a two-seat configuration. The DPS is equipped especially for hunting, but it may also be a good option for people interested in trail riding or work applications with its 4,500-pound winch, front bumper, and full roof.
