The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

Are you looking to renew your CPR certification in Richmond, CA? Our American Heart Association CPR and BLS renewal training school is located only 7 miles away. It is easy to reach our location by taking Bart, public transportation or diving down 80 a few miles. All of our students will receive the official American Heart Association certification card which is valid for two years. The cards are issued on the day of the class, which is nice for those who need their card for work. Classes are held during the weekends and in the middle of the week on many different times. CPR Classes near Richmond, CA

The DC Fire/EMS Department offers Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training under the American Heart Association Guide lines.

Healthcare Providers training to members of the community are on the first and third Monday of every month. Heartsavers/CPR/AED/1st AID Class training to members of the community are on the first and third Thursday of every month.

Online CPR skills are available by appointment only. The classes provide students with certification in CPR for Adult, Child and Infant. Upon successful completion of the training course, participants will receive a certification card good for two years.

Hands Only CPR/AED - FREE

These classes are on the basics of hands-only CPR and AED awareness. The training instructs participants to focus on their hand placement, tempo and the number of compressions for two minute intervals.

Certification Courses

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.

Skills Testing Session – $40 (online training must be completed prior to the session)

There are fees associated with these classes. 

Heartsaver CPR/AED – $55; This course is classroom, video-based and instructor-led that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult.

Heartsaver First Aid – $55; This course is classroom, video-based and instructor-led that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid – $85; This course combines the CPR/AED and First Aid courses.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid (Specialty) – $60; This course teaches child care providers and others how to respond and manage child or infant illnesses and injuries.

Healthcare Provider (CPR Certification) – $75; This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
