Just got my 30K service done on my 14 Durango.

Shouldn't this be reset? Now I'm worried it wasn't done.

I feel your pain, the f'knuts at my dealer didn't reset it the last time I let them change my oil.

in my case I could tell by the filter that they actually did it, but I'd go back and say "do it again, and this time I'll watch. I have no way to know that you actually did it."

If they didn't do all the steps, they effectively didn't do any of the steps. They need to do it again. And maybe they'll learn something. Yeah, I'm a dreamer.

The owner's manual has the wrong procedure to reset the oil percentage readout. Set the ignition to ON, but do not start the car. Pump the gas pedal three times, then start the engine. The usage will reset.

Is the oil clean? If so, it was changed. If not, I'd doubt it.

i follow the steps in the manual i happen to have and it works- manual is marked "fourth edition rev 1" on back and it says:

Vehicles Equipped With Keyless Enter-N-Go™
1. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the ENGINE
START/STOP button and cycle the ignition to the
ON/RUN position (do not start the engine.)
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, slowly, three times
within 10 seconds.
3. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the ENGINE
START/STOP button once to return the ignition to the
OFF/LOCK position.

last step slightly different- not sure if it matters... (could also be i just started it on last step and didnt realize....)

Yeah my manual has a different set of instructions which don't work, but the gas pedal instructions do. Drove me nuts until I looked it up on this forum. I guess they've since updated the manual, but I bought mine in March 2015 and you'd have thought they would have changed it before then...
