High index lenses are automatically selected depending on your prescription and included at no extra charge in your package. All lenses feature premium coatings including anti-reflective, anti-abrasion, and uv-400.

Skip the exam. Bring in an existing Rx and mix and match frames and lens styles in a range of shapes, colors, and sizes. Don't see something you like? Bring your own frame and we'll replace your lenses (with an exam included) for $129.

You can get your eyewear in less than 30 minutes at HEYWEAR Studio in NoHo and Flatiron.
You can also place an online order using your own valid Rx or choose "I have a HEYWEAR Rx on file" if you're an existing guest. We assemble online orders as they come in and they typically are shipped same-day. You should have an online order in a few days. We also offer expedited shipping.
All online orders can be returned or exchanged within 30 days through mail or at a HEYWEAR Studio.

Exams are included with every eyewear purchase at HEYWEAR. Eyewear packages start at 1 style for $149 which includes an exam, frames, and lenses cut for your Rx. You can make it a set and get 2 styles for $249 or 3 for $349.
You can also have an exam without purchasing eyewear for a flat $69 with no insurance required.
During your comprehensive eye screening a doctor will determine your eyewear prescription and evaluate your eye health through advanced imaging of the anterior and posterior of your eyes. Tests also will be performed on your pupils, muscles, visual field, as well as pressure checks for glaucoma screening. While HEYWEAR does not perform dilation, It is still recommended that if you have not your eyes dilated in over 3 years or are at higher risk that you schedule a dilated eye exam with your regular Optometry office.
Post exam you'll receive your updated Rx and exam summary via secure email.
We encourage booking an appointment at our Brooklyn or Manhattan Studio if you plan on having an exam. Otherwise, you can walk in anytime during Studio hours to try on styles in our showrooms or have eyewear made on the spot using an existing prescription.
The top of our prescription range is -12 and +6. Our astigmatism limitation is -4.00. We offer single vision and sun lenses that are cut for your prescription on the spot. We generally stock lenses to accommodate these prescriptions in both sun and clear lenses.
In the rare case we're out of stock, we'll order your Rx and send you an e-mail when they're back in the Studio.
We do not accept insurance directly but depending on your plan and provider you may be able to submit your visit for reimbursement.
We do accept FSA/HSA.
