I have 2000 Tundra 4.7 4x4 that wont start. Got code for crankshaft position sensor. I have looked and cant find video of a good pic of
where this thing is on the engine. If anyone has a video or good pic I would appreciate it.
Found this: Front of engine,lower driver side,mount on oil pump body behind crank pulley,remove skid plate under the truck to gain access.

Thanks maluth, I already found it but that's exactly where it is. I couldn't believe there are so many posts on Internet that say it's in a different spot. Replaced it today and truck is running again. Here is a pic of where it is if anybody else cant find it. It is right under the pulley attached by a 10mm bolt and wire harness.
Glad to be of help. It was a slow day at work so I did some Googling.

It's very common for people to misroute the cps wiring when doing a timing belt... the serpentine belt then rips through the wires...

What is the yellow with the black striped go to. I have a 01 and are there a crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor and where are tjey???? Anyone know
