Would it cause any problems with respect to the Check Engine Light coming on or other driveability issues? dredman1Riding on 18'sPosts: 1742Joined: October 7th, 2005, 10:47 pm Re: WTK: Mazda 3 - Catalytic Converter RemovalPostby dredman1 » February 22nd, 2011, 10:10 pm I've been reading on various Mazda 3 forums where some said they got error codes and some didn't, so I'm not sure either. Even so, these are all USDM cars (2.0 and 2.3 engines), so even if it could be confirmed that it worked on those cars, there's no telling whether it will be the same for our JDM/SDM 1.6 engine models. I was hoping there might be someone here who'd done it and could give a definite answer. hong kong phooeypunchin NOSPosts: 2956Joined: July 10th, 2006, 8:37 amLocation: ah lorse Re: WTK: Mazda 3 - Catalytic Converter RemovalPostby hong kong phooey » February 23rd, 2011, 8:08 pm My car is not the mazda 3 but the bh Return to “MAZDA” Who is onlineUsers browsing this forum: No registered users and 0 guests Download Article Download Article The catalytic converter, which is responsible for the cleanup of a vehicle exhaust, is a key component of a vehicle emission control system.
