Discussion Starter · #1 · 5 mo ago I just bought a 2022 Nissan Rogue SL and was surprised it needed a bracket installed to install a license plate in the front. My salesman wound up installing what I presume was an OEM bracket for the Rogue, but it didn't come with the screws that will be needed to install a license plate to it. Does anyone know what size screw will be needed? I'm
guessing that most likely the screws used for the back plate will not be the same size as the ones needed for the front. Thanks PS - First time poster and yes I spelled Rogue wrong in my username (wtf) rogoman· Admin and Sup Mod keeping the peaceJoined Dec 16, 2004 · 8,504 Posts
Take one of the screws from the back plate which should be metric and should work in the front plate, then make a trip to your local hardware store; look for a metric sheet medal screw. Download Article Download Article Some states require front license plates, but not all vehicle makes and models have front license plate brackets. If you do have a front bracket, just screw your license plate onto it. If you don’t, there are still easy options available. You could try an adhesive-mounted bracket or a bracket designed for the shape of your specific model’s bumper. There are also brackets that fit into the tow hook anchor located on the front bumper of many newer models. If you don’t mind drilling holes into your bumper, you could always just install your license plate the old fashioned way. Things You Should Know
