oh no that sucks lol you should just be able to craft that but ok COOOL

i found one fully assembled in a gun safe.. can *only* shoot steel or flaming arrows.. sooo.. ugh.. I kind of get that the regular crappy bow is limited on what it can shoot, but why can't the compound bow shoot iron arrows? makes me sad

i actually just found 2 of the same piece. have you used it yet is it beast ????

Found a completed one in a pawn shop.

In 2 games, I have found 3 compound bows, 1 in a safe and 2 in the tool store. I have not found any loose parts yet.

IRL how would you learn to make a compound bow, by either learning the plans of one or by getting your hands on one and copying it.

I really doubt you'd be making any compound bows IRL lol

@ OP yeah it's kinda rare but it is really bad ass. I have a green one and it only takes a couple shots to the body to kill.. head shots are automatic ofc, and the range finding sights on it are a little funky to get used to but once you do they're really nice too. It also draws a lot faster than the regular bow.

yeah. I scored an orange bow, and even then the base damage was already 55. x6 to the head. POP!

There is a guaranteed compound bow drop at the top of the skyscraper at the very end of path just below the tower.
Drops 1 compound or the whole bow at a time.

ive found both of mine in the large, freestanding safe.

Just wait, there will be modding teams who will make the components craftable. A16 opened up so many new features which will make modding way more interesting now. I will be looking for a good modded server once the stable release is done.

Are Bows or crossbows better 7 Days to Die?

Overall, both are more similar to each other than compared to any other weapon, but compared between themselves, the bow is better for non-stealth combat and medium range, while the crossbow is better for longer range 'sniping'.
