Evenflo 4 in 1 car seat forward facing

Are you trying to decide when to turn your toddler around to face forward in your vehicle?  At a minimum, all children should remain in a rear-facing car seat until they are at least a year old and weigh 20 lb. However, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) both recommend that children remain rear-facing for as long as possible—at least until they reach the maximum height or weight for their car seat in rear-facing orientation. Many states have updated their car seat laws to reflect this recommendation as well. The best option is to move your child into a rear-facing convertible or all-in-one car seat and to use that seat in the rear-facing position until your child reaches the maximum weight or height limit.

To support these recommendations, all Evenflo car seats require a minimum age of 2 years old for forward-facing car seat use. You’ll find age limit details for your seat in the product instructions and on the labels of the car seat, along with the product’s height and weight limit details.
