(WJET/WFXP/YourErie.com) — In response to Governor Tom Wolf’s order, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) instructed all Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores and licensee service centers to remove all Russian-made products from their shelves.

This was a sign of solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine.

At the time of writing, Russian-made special order products are also no longer available.

It has been stated that although some producers give their vodkas Russian-themed monikers and marketing as many consumers associate vodka with Russia, only a few products carried by Fine Wine & Good Spirits are actually sourced from Russia.

Fine Wine & Good Spirits reportedly only stocks two Russian-made products in their stores, Russian Standard and Ustianochka 80-proof vodkas. About a half-dozen special order brands come from Russia.

“As of today, these products will no longer be sold or procured by the PLCB. Given the evolving political-economic climate, it’s just the right thing to do,” said Board Chairman Tim Holden.

The PLCB stated it will not be restricting the sales of Russian-branded products that are not sourced from Russia, as doing so would reportedly impact those brands unfairly and adversely.

I got everything I needed. I even bought a bottle of wine for $4.50 and it's good! I was surprised. The cashier carried my purchases out for me which I appreciate since I I walk with a cane

Great place with all the drinks you could look for. Obviously there is no beer and stuff, but there is a great selection of wine and liquor of all sizes. Employees are helpful and not scared to give a good opinion. Glad it was here.

This updated location is really nice. It has more of a selection and it's better organized. I'd also like to say that when there was lines over the holidays in lieu of the 50% capacity laws because of Covid19, they were very accommodating and everything ran very smoothly. The cashiers are very friendly.

For a state run and regulated liquor, this store has a wide variety of selection. I always find interesting stuff here. Recently, I purchased a three pack of Menage a Trois for a super deal. The three pack was only $29.99, a savings of $14. I actually returned to the store and purchased three more of these gift sets.

Went in for someone else & they didn't have the kind I'd asked for so the lady went out of her way and looked online and showed me a paper of all the stores that were open that had the kind that I was looking for so I thought that was pretty neat and I appreciated it!! ?❤️?❤️

The staff at the East 6th St location were very nice and always willing to help you find what your looking for. The shelves were stocked and organized, easy to find what you are looking for. This location is not as big as some others but it's still a good location.
