Director George A. Romero is the inventor of the zombie film genre, maybe even of the zombie itself. He wrote and directed 1968's Night Of The Living Dead which began one of the best horror film franchises of all time. In 1985, Romero released Day Of The Dead, the third film in the series. DOTD follows a group of scientists working on a cure for the zombie pandemic. The team thinks they're safe as they have secure bunkers, but as we all know - no one is safe from zombies.
