Waited almost an hour late at night to resolve a check in. They deleted my hilton reservation that was tied to my rewards account. That was their resolution. 2. Like the other reviews mentioned, the beds are horrible. It's a known issue. I thought maybe some people were being dramatic but I'm talking about severe back pain since my 2nd night here. I was switched to a different room and woke up with terrible back pain. I was switched to another room, but the pain is just getting worse. I don't think I can complete my stay. I'm going into town to find a medical massage. At this point I don't know if I want to switch rooms again. This is unacceptable and takes away from what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. 3. I've been in 3 rooms now and my current room is the only one that's ”clean”. I use that word loosely. From the ceiling to the damp floors, the rooms I've been in are gross. The first two rooms had what looked like mold in the vents, shower floor, shower shelves, and corners of the ceiling. The walls and doors had paint chipping all over, and the sink was clogged. When I flush the sink pipe freaks out spitting water everywhere. The balcony in this last room is not safe to wear bare feet on. The floor is chipping with what looks like rust in the chips. 4. The friendliness of the staff is 50/50. The lady who checked me in was so rude. When I called from my room to complain about the bed, the front desk seemed indifferent, she was alot nicer when I went down in person. The manager Stacey and the breakfast lady was the nicest staff in the whole hotel. 5. The breakfast is good here, the kitchen lady is Amazing!!! Love her!!! The beach view is okay. The guests are so nice and courteous. Honestly, it's other people that made my stay somewhat tolerable. 6. I will say it's mostly elderly folks that are here. It seems grandma's like beach vacations in st Augustine. But I like the Grandmas!! 7.
