Facilities and Capacity
A versatile venue, Prospect House provides both indoor and outdoor facilities for the wedding of your dreams and has innumerable configurations, able to be set up according to your preferences and requirements. Enjoy an outdoor ceremony at Little Tree or at the Ceremony Lawn. The Ceremony Lawn provides stunning vistas of the surrounding acreage and tall grasses. The Little Tree offers a shadier site under the dancing foliage of wizened oak trees. The Biergarten is also available as an outdoor site for cocktail hour, post-ceremony mingling, and other intimate affairs. The Biergarten provides 1,500 square feet of outdoor space and comes with a concrete and steel bar, café tables, and access to the Main Hall.

The Main Hall is an ideal place for your Texas-chic ceremony. Boasting 3,000 square feet of space, full of windows that afford an abundance of natural sunlight, and featuring 15-foot high ceilings, this spacious all-white setting is totally configurable to your preferred color scheme or event design. The Main Hall accommodates up to 220 guests and also permits plenty of space for your band or DJ.

An additional option for indoor celebrations is the Breezeway, which is a breezy screened-in entry hall. While this reception site offers less space than the Main Hall, it provides a contemporary and breathtaking background for a memorable party, including floor-to-ceiling windows, and exposed white wood beams. This room is most ideal for an indoor ceremony or cocktail hour.

Luxury get-ready rooms are also available at this venue. Couples can enjoy private dressing rooms complete with their own powder rooms for pre-ceremony preparations. Additionally, a caterer’s kitchen is available, complete with a commercial sink, refrigerator, and freezer.

Prospect House is dedicated to making the Southern chic wedding of your dreams come to sophisticated life. A standard package includes the following furniture pieces: 180 natural wood indoor dining chairs, 220 white resin outdoor ceremony chairs, 40 natural wood rectangular dining tables, 10 round dining tables, 10 bar-height cocktail tables, and 150 linear feet of built-in banquet seating.   Amazing Venue!

  I had my eye on Prospect House for roughly 7 years which is a huge indication of how timeless the venue really is. We toured over 10 venues across Texas and landed on Prospect House due to the value for money, the owners and how personable they are and the beauty of the space. Our guests LOVED the venue/outdoors and it was perfect for our big day! Prospect House is contemporary and modern and can go any direction in aesthetic. We did a minimal, black/white classic style which matched the venue perfectly! Kathryn and Erich were such a pleasure to work with! They were consistently responsive and truly care about the couples and groups who rent the space. 10/10!

  Amazing venue with helpful owners

  The venue was amazing, just as pictured. A gorgeous clean slate that stayed shockingly comfortable in the Texas heat. The team behind Prospect House is very accommodating and helpful too. Kathryn and Erich even reviewed my table layouts and gave suggestions for the perfect fit. The breezeway and main hall made for a perfect rain plan (which we thankfully did not have to use) and a great way to break up the party into dancing and chatting spaces at the end of the night without feeling too segregated. Everyone loved the outdoor space and the wedding party loved having the groom and bride suites to retreat to for touch ups when needed.

  Beautiful venue, lovely owners

  Kathryn and Erich of Prospect House have created an incredible space with the most thoughtful details. From the native landscape to the Texas dancehall vibes, there’s not one corner that’s not absolutely beautiful, intentional, and photogenic. What’s more is that they are lovely to work with! They were super accommodating for visits, our rehearsal, and promptly answered any questions we had throughout the planning process.

  Prospect House was the most beautiful and unique backdrop for our wedding. Thank you for hosting a night we will never forget!

Not only is it easy & convenient to work at from a catering perspective given the large kitchen space, easy load-in access & potable water (a hot commodity in Texas hill country!) but also...it's simply gorgeous. We have catered several weddings at Prospect House & they were incredibly accommodating in letting us stage a styled wedding photo shoot there recently as well. As a person who has been helping others plan their weddings for 5-6 years, I will now be hosting my own at Prospect House! The juxtaposition of the thoughtful modern design set against the hill country backdrop is absolutely breathtaking & every little bit of comfort you need is on site (gorgeous dressing rooms, clever built-in bars, full sound system, fantastic rain plan option, etc.).
