How do you grill boneless chicken tenders?

When I grill tenders, I marinate them for several minutes, then season them while on the grill for even more flavor. I use a gas grill which helps speed up the entire process. If using a charcoal grill, just allow a few minutes extra for the charcoal to reach proper cooking temperature.

How long to grill?

The key to grilled chicken tenders is to avoid overcooking them. Chicken tenders are so thin, they cook in just a few minutes. I have best results when I cook them about 4-5 minutes on each side depending upon thickness.

  1. Start with about a pound or two of raw boneless chicken tenders. Trim any fat if desired.
  2. Add korean bbq sauce to tenders and make sure they are well coated. Place tenders back in refrigerator to marinate (this can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes or more depending on how much time you have.)
  3. Heat the grill to medium high or hot enough so the chicken sizzles when placed on grill. Sprinkle the chicken with rotisserie seasoning. After about 4-5 minutes, or until grill marks form, flip chicken and season. Grill 4-5 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked when sliced. Avoid overcooking or the chicken will be dry!
  4. Remove chicken from grill and allow to set 4-5 minutes. This step helps to make sure the chicken will be juicy and tender.
