Description

Jovie Goat Stage 1 organic infant milk provides the perfect amount of nutrients so you can confidently nourish your baby from birth onwards. Breastmilk is the gold standard when it comes to infant nutrition. Some women, however, are unable or choose not to breastfeed. Jovie Goat infant milk is certified organic and contains all nutrients required by European infant formula standards. If you choose to bottle feed, you can confidently do so with Jovie Goat Organic.

Jovie provides goat milk goodness. Each ingredient that goes into our formula is carefully selected so growing babies get exactly what they need. Goat milk contains unique proteins that promotes easy digestion. It is soft and gentle on the tummy and easily passes from the stomach into the intestines for further digestion.

Jovie Goat Milk Formulas include as much goat milk fat as possible because of the inherent benefits of the whole goat milk. This is an important distinction over other formulas that include de-fatted or skimmed milk ingredients that have the milk fats removed.

A major advantage of goat milk fat lays in the fact that it has a high percentage of palmitic acid in the so-called sn-2 position of the fat molecule. Just like in human breastmilk. This is important because this fatty acid arrangement promotes infant health in a number of ways, such as improved fat and calcium absorption, bone health, intestinal flora, digestive comfort, and softer stools.

Review

Is goat milk formula good for babies?

Goat milk is not a safe choice for infants It has caused significant morbidity and even mortality in infants. Unfortunately, the internet and some social media present false information that goat milk is an option for infants. Concerns include: The protein content is excessive, nearly three times that of human milk.

What is goats milk formula good for?

Potassium is essential for babies and toddlers as it aids in the development of muscle function, as well as maintaining healthy blood pressure. Goat milk is a superior source of potassium, containing almost one and a half times that of cow milk.

Is goat milk formula FDA approved?

Goat milk formulas (Holle, Kabrita, etc) are not FDA approved. This means that they have not been studied in the US and that the nutritional components are not necessarily adequate for growing infants. Homemade formulas are also not recommended as they will not meet the nutritional needs of your infant.

Is goats milk formula easier to digest?

Yes. One of the big benefits of goat milk baby formula is that it's easier to digest. But it's not for everyone. Since goat milk protein is naturally easier to digest than cow milk protein, babies with a sensitivity to cow milk may do better with goat milk.
