How do I put my LG air conditioner in heating mode?

Fan mode circulates the air but the compressor does not run..

Press [Power]..

Use the [Up and Down] arrow keys to set the desired temperature..

Press the [Mode] key repeatedly until "Cool" mode is selected..

If needed, press the [Fan] key on the remote or control panel to adjust fan speeds..

Can LG AC be used as heater?

Only those ACs which come fitted with a Heat Pump are appropriate for use as a heater. Such Air conditioning units cool as well as produce heat as desired. When the heat mode is turned on, the Air Conditioner unit produces warm air to fight the cool breeze outside.
