Sushi junai 2 menu all you can eat

Austin has one of the best food scenes in the country. It’s obviously known for its BBQ, but because of its diverse population, there is a wealth of choices of cuisines. Sushi options are plentiful so it won’t be tough to find a spot to chow down.

Of the sushi restaurants on offer, there is a good amount of them that offer all-you-can-eat options. We at InspoVacay have compiled a list of the top spots to try when you’re craving some AYCE sushi.

Sushi junai 2 menu all you can eat

  1. Sushi Junai 2

Address: 2500 W Parmer Ln #100, Austin, TX 78727

Price Range –  $24.95 – $32.95

Hands down this are the top spot in Austin for AYCE Sushi. The quality, choice, and price are really strong and you really can’t go wrong choosing this spot. The “Ex-Girlfriend” sushi roll here is their specialty and it’s delicious. A must-try. It’s like a spicy tuna roll with shrimp tempura and cucumber. It’s a nice mix with a little bit of spice and a nice level of creaminess to the sauce.

From a price point, perspective Sushi Junai is pretty competitive with lunch coming in at $24.95 and dinner priced at $32.95. You can get some great bang for your buck if you optimize your order. One of the other elements that make this spot stand out is its service. The staff is on it. They’re great at getting orders fast and food is delivered promptly, so you can make the most of the AYCE offer.

There are a few stipulations to the AYCE offer. For instance, you will be charged for any leftovers, you can’t share with any other person at the table and you’ve limited to a 60-minute time limit for lunch and a 90-minute time limit for dinner. All of the usual rules you get at an AYCE spot.

  1. Sushi Bang Bang

Address: 14005 US-183 #1000, Austin, TX 78717

Price Range –  $33.99

The self-proclaimed best AYCE sushi spot in Austin, it’s definitely up there for its quality and service but was pipped to the top spot in our rankings by Sushi Junai 2. What we really liked about this spot was its range of choices on the AYCE menu. They have a nice selection of teriyaki, tempura, and appetizers on the menu too. The pumpkin tempura was really good and we highly recommend trying it.

This spot also has high rankings on all of the review sites which is always positive to see. The price is the same whether you are having lunch or dinner. So if you really want to optimize the process make sure that you go to the dinner sitting as there are a number of menu items that are only available at the dinner sitting. There is also a nice a la carte menu and they offer some decent lunch bento box specials too if you don’t fancy going the whole hog with the AYCE.

  1. Tsukimi

Address: 12400 N Interstate Hwy 35 A-111, Austin, TX 78753

Price Range –  $24.95 – $32.95

The quality of sushi here was good, consistent, and fresh. There was no sashimi available on the AYCE menu which was a little disappointing, but the quality of the Nigiri and sushi rolls is very good, so we wouldn’t let the lack of sashimi discourage you. Their Agedashi Tofu is top-notch and it’s well worth coming here to try this dish alone.

Another area that let Tsukimi down a little was its service. It was quite slow which meant it was tough to get many rounds of orders in. This was probably down to the time that we visited is a Saturday night at peak time, so we advise going for an early sitting if you’re going here.

Their lunch sitting is a really solid value and there are no limitations in terms of what you can order when you compare it to the dinner sitting. For less than 25 bucks, you can’t go wrong.

  1. East Buffet

Address: Address: 6425 S I-35 Frontage Rd #165, Austin, TX 78744

Price Range –  $

This laid-back spot is located just south of Downtown Austin in the Southbrook Tower Mall. East Buffet is a Pan-Asian offering that serves up a nice mix of dishes. It’s a self-service spot and although it’s not all you can eat it is a pretty cost-effective way to get sushi. At East Buffet your food is weighted when you get to pay. You pay by the pound, so if you load up on sushi, then you can get yourself a decent deal. It’s not an all-you-can-eat option, but we have included it in our list due to its great value.

Best Sushi Restaurants in Austin

If you’re here, you’re obviously a fan of great sushi, so we have included our list of the top sushi joints in Austin. These spots don’t offer AYCE options, but they do have deals and top-quality sushi, so be sure to check these out.

  1. Otaka Austin

Address: 1603 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704, United States

Price Range –  $$$$ ($125 – $275)

This is by far the best sushi spot in Austin. Opened and was run by Chef Yoshi Okai. Otoko serves up a really interesting mix of traditional Japanese food with a pinch of local Texan produce. There is also a twist of Mexican cuisine mixed into the menu. It makes for a really unique sushi experience that makes for some super dishes. The most interesting ingredient is definitely the grasshoppers and the crickets.

The menu is also inspired by the local barbecue culture in Austin where smoke and flavor are a priority for Chef Yoshi Okai. This is definitely a spot for a special occasion or if you want to splash the cash. As it is an expensive option, but for the price. You are getting top-quality dishes that have been executed in a masterful manner. The restaurant also only has 12 seats and instead of reservations tickets are purchased 3 months before dining.

  1. Komé: Sushi Kitchen

Address: 5301 Airport Blvd #100, Austin, TX 78751

Price Range –  $$

If you’re looking for authentic sushi at a decent price then look no further than Komé. Serving up all your favorite sushi dishes as well as Japanese staples such as Ramen and Okonomiyaki. Komé does the basics really well. Perfect for either lunch or dinner this place is casual and unpretentious. It kind of has a homestyle cooking vibe to it, but the dishes are really well done and the sushi is super fresh. This spot also does some great takeout and is a must-visit if you’re in the Hyde Park area.

  1. Kura Revolving Sushi

Address: 6929 Airport Blvd Suite 125, Austin, TX 78752, United States

Price Range –  $$

To our knowledge, this is the only revolving sushi restaurant in Austin and you’ll be glad to hear that not only is Kura a unique experience, but the sushi here is pretty damn good too.

All plates are $2.85 a plate. It’s a pretty simple concept, whatever you like the look of, you take it from the conveyor belt and chow it down. Once you finished with your plate or at the end of the meal. You simply place your empty plates into a small letterbox style opening and these are added to your bill. There is also an a la carte menu where you can order special dishes or hot food like

What’s unique about this conveyor belt sushi restaurant is that they have gamified the eating process. After you eat 5 plates you get to play a game, same after then plates and at 15 plates you win a prize. It’s usually little toys. It’s a great thing for kids to keep them entertained.
