• Convert Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese or vice versa in my Window's annual subscription of word [don't know what version is this?]

  You can refer to About Office: What version of Office am I using? to get the detailed product information of Office. Based on your description, maybe you are using Office 365.

  Please tell me the specific features you want to achieve? Converting Traditional Chinese text to simplified, or vice versa? For Display Language, converting Traditional Chinese to simplified, or vice versa? Is there a problem with the Simplified and Traditional Chinese Conversion function?

  If you want Chinese Conversion, You may need install the Chinese editing Language Package in Word Language Options Page(File>Options>Language).
  

  On Review Tab, there is Chinese Conversion button that can help you.

  If you want change Display Language Settings, in Word Language Options, you can select Chinese(Simplified) or Chinese(Traditional), set it as Default Display Language.

Prerequisites for Chinese Translation of Microsoft Word 2016

• Please make sure that Microsoft Office 2016 and Simplified Chinese Language Pack have been installed.

Steps for Chinese Translation in Microsoft Word 2016

• Open the document you want to translate with Microsoft Word 2016
• Click on the "Convert with Options" button in the Review Tab of Microsoft Word 2016
  
• Select the suitable radio button at the "Translation direction" field and then click "OK"
  
• The content of the document will be translated to your desired Chinese font
