This package includes both the EPS Tongue Box and EPS Spare Tire Mount. 

Tongue Box:

The EPS tongue box offers an attractive storage solution for your tab trailer.  An all-aluminum construction that matches the diamond plate rock guard provides a convenient location to store trailer accessories like sewer hoses, water hoses or tools.  A lockable, chrome plated, flush mounted latch will withstand harsh weather and provide an attractive way to secure your accessories.  All hardware required for installation is included.

Spare Tire Mount:

The EPS tire mount is designed to remove the spare tire from under the rear of the trailer, offer a convenient location when need and increasing ground clearance.  It is constructed of black power coated steel that matches the trailer’s frame and offers a strong stable mounting location for your spare tire.  Although designed to be used with the EPS Tongue Box it can be installed independently.  It ships with all necessary hardware to complete the installation.

I don't want to mount mine to the rear bumper. I have seen some from a distance but not up close. How do you get the spare up and down? 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7, Auto 6sd, Prodigy 2 brake control, Reese dual cam WDH with 1200lb bars. 2008 28ft Dutchman Classic with 20ft slide. 2016 25ft.Ventura Sporttrek

Ray55 Missouri Full Member Joined: 10/23/2011 View Profile Offline	My trailer came with the spare mounted under the tongue. It does not interfer with the WD bars. There is a speed wrech provided that slips onto a spool you just crank it up. The same or similar design as is on a pickup truck. I thought my tire would hit the ground on steep driveways so I never used the carrier. I mounted it to the back bumper. I thought it easier to get to. So far I have not had the need. I have since had the trailer height raised and will try mounting it under the tongue just to see how it goes. Thinking about an Alaska trip and plan to take an extra spair tire hopefully the tongue and rear bumber mounts can both be used. dublittle Florida Full Member Joined: 02/13/2008 View Profile Offline	I had one that had a bar under it and a hinge on one end. The other end was held up with a pin. Some debris from the road flew up and knocked the pin out. Fortunately, I heard it and stopped in time to avoid a big problem. If you go that route, be sure to get a pin you can secure in place.

goducks10 There Senior Member Joined: 02/22/2010 View Profile Offline	My Heartland has it mounted under the tongue. Never had any issues. One thing to think about though is ground clearance. My TT is 22" to the bottom of the frame. I know some Heartland owners that have a lower profile TT have had some issues with the tire dragging. I don't know what type of TT you have so just throwing out some info.
