Prime-time football is going to look a bit different heading into 2022. The NFL Network is no longer one of the networks that will be hosting one of the three weekly prime-time matchups. Instead, Amazon's streaming service, Prime, enters the mix and will be the broadcast home for "Thursday Night Football." In addition, several prominent broadcasters, including Al Michaels, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have shifted to new booths, and will now be heard on different networks from their previous homes of NBC and Fox. Michaels will now be on Amazon, while Buck and Aikman join ESPN for "Monday Night Football." Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth now comprise NBC's duo for "Sunday Night Football." Below is the complete schedule of prime-time games in 2022, with start times for every Thursday, Sunday and Monday night game. NBC will again be the broadcast home of "Sunday Night Football" for the 16th straight season. This year, however, the broadcast team will be Tirico on play-by-play, Collinsworth providing color commentary and Melissa Stark reporting from the sideline. "Sunday Night Football" games can be streamed on NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, Peacock or on fuboTV, which offers a free trial.
'Monday Night Football' schedule 2022
ESPN made one of the biggest splashes of the broadcasting offseason when it signed Buck and Aikman to work "Monday Night Football," pulling them away from Fox. Buck will handle play-by-play, while Aikman will provide color commentary. There will be a pair of games in Week 2, with one game set to be broadcast on ESPN and the other on ABC. "Monday Night Football" games can be watched on the ESPN app, through ESPN+ or on fuboTV, which offers a free trial. ESPN+ will also have exclusive coverage of the Oct. 30 matchup in London between the Broncos and Jaguars, which will take place at 9:30 a.m. ET.
