Can am commander middle seat

Does anyone know if any aftermarket companies make a center seat like utv giant does for the rzr's its really slick its for kids and you can get the optional crow harnesses for it. Would be nice to take my grandson out with me on some rides. Right now he is too little to sit in the passenger seat and buckle in the 4 points. plus my wife can come and the little guy. The one from utv giant is made for kids age 3 to 7. here is a pick of it.

Right on C, there is no excuse for not treating yourself to good safety practices and others. I hope you find something like that, it is perfect.

I have been looking and have not found anything like that. I actually almost bought a rzr because of that seat. but if you look over on the commander forum there is a guy who uses a car seat and a couple anchors anad it works pretty slick. I have not tried that myself but it has pictures etc and looks like an easy install. no welding etc..

Ive been looking at the bracket and i think i can modify it or fab up a new one to fit the mav. I am going to call them and get the seat dimensions. There are two bars under center console i can fab up brackets to bolt to it and slot the plastic on each side then bolt this bracket to it.

Im thinking about buying the seat and having my buddy fab me a bracket to make it work. The car seat idea on the commander forum is a good idea but he mentions a few times it gets a little crowded. I think if you can make this seat work it would be much better. Cholber ill be keeping an eye on this if you decide to do it. Im leaving tomorrow out of the country so im atleast 2 weeks out from starting on this project

There is alot of fabricating that needs to be done for that including cage work. Im trying to simplify it somewhat

A friend of mine has a xmr and he ratchet strapped a car seat in between his stock seats. He had to cut the plastic base of the car seat to fit the contour of the center council. It turned out great and very secure. I will try to get a pic

Rock on. I hung out with my buddy last night and showed him the pics from the website. He said it shouldn't be a problem to build a bracket. He just needs to look at the Mav to figure out some attachment points. He's gonna make it a quick release type also. I'm ordering the seat next week and will get it to his shop stat and see if we can make it work.

This is all I could find of it as he outgrew and sold the seat I cut off the rzr mounts and made a small square Frame with a extended foot rest on it. Welded that to seat frame. Then buit my bracket to hang from cage. Two bolts was enough to hold it solid. I attacthed harness to the mounting bracket that way it could all come out in piece . The bracket was still laying around heres it. Boy was 4yr be for he out grew it. Might lasted longer but my cage was chopped. Also ddint work as well with just driver and kid. He would have to work to not slide right.

just got a maverick last month and have been browsing the internet for accessories and just happened upon it. UTV Mountain Accessories seems to be the original seller, but there are some other sites with the same style addon.
