If you would like to add a screenshot to your Google Docs, you're in the right place! 1.) Center the screenshot so everything you want to include is visible on the monitor. Don't forget to move your mouse, so the pointer isn't in the way of your screen capture! 2.) Press the "print screen" button. It's at the top-right of your keyboard and says "PrtScn" 3.) Open up Microsoft PowerPoint and start a blank presentation. 4.) Right-click, and paste your image. It should be a large image. If it's too big, use the corner handles (white circles) to re-size it. 5.) Click on the "Format" top tab, and then the crop button (on the right side of your screen). 6.) Use the corner handles again to select the area you would like to keep. This time the handles are right angles or "L" shaped. You will see the area become shaded as you crop more of the image. The area you are keeping should be in the center of the screen, and brightly lit. 7.) Click the crop button on the menu bar (see the image from step 5) to trim your picture. 8.) Go back to the image, right click, and select "save as picture." 9.) Save your image on your computer under your ID number. 10.) Go to your Google Doc.
