On your iPhone or iPad, open the Find My app

Select Devices from the menu

You will see a map appear

From the Find My enabled devices list, select it

To find the last location of your lost device, click on Directions

Remember that someone might have gotten to it before you. Don’t be surprised if it’s gone.

On A Computer

You can use Find My iPhone on your computer as well. You’ll need an iCloud account to use it.

Here’s what you do:

Visit the iCloud.com website

You will need to enter your Apple ID and password

Your iPhone and other Apple devices will receive a verification code.

The Find iPhone option will appear

After a few seconds, you should see a map appear.

On the top of the page, click All Devices

The Apple watch will appear when you click it

How Do You Switch On Find My iPhone?

There is an app called Find My iPhone that can assist. In order to use its tracking feature, you must first enable it.

Here’s how you do it:

Navigate to the Settings app

On the top, click your name

On the next page, tap the Find My button

You can find your iPhone by clicking on the Find My iPhone button

Offline Finding or Find My Network should be enabled

Make sure Send Last Location is turned on

How To Find Your Lost Apple Watch With Someone Else’s Device?

If you do not have an iPhone or computer, don’t worry. A friend’s phone can still be used to locate your Apple watch.

To do this, follow these steps:

Borrow an iPhone or iPad

Open the Find My app

Select Me from the menu

Select the Help a Friend option

To use a different Apple ID, select Use a different Apple ID

You’ll need to log in with the same Apple ID that you used to set up Find My

Make sure you turn on the location tracking feature of the Find My app.

You can listen to audio and track your missing Apple watch if it is online (as long as your smartwatch it is within range). Take advantage of this opportunity.

What Do You Do If Apple Device Is Not Showing Up On Find My App?

In the case that an Apple device does not appear on your paired iPhone or iPad, you can try a couple of tricks.

Here are a few of them:

Force Restart

You can force restart your handset if a minor glitch is to blame. There would be a sudden shutdown of all running applications and processes.

Depending on the model of your iPhone, you will have to force reboot.

Here’s what to do on SE and 2nd generation 8 models with face ID:

The Volume Up button should be pressed and let go

The Volume Down button should be pressed and let go

When you see the Apple logo, keep holding the Side button

Hold down the Volume Down and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo

• 6S, SE 1st gen, and earlier models:

The Apple logo will appear when you press and hold the Power and Home buttons

Hold the Home and Power buttons until the startup screen appears, then release them

• iPads without Home buttons:

You should hold down the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time. As soon as the reboot screen appears, release them

Airplane Mode

The Airplane Mode can be enabled and disabled if you are experiencing a network error. As a result, you will not be able to connect to cellular towers. You won’t be able to receive phone calls or text messages, and you won’t be able to access the internet.

Open the control panel by swiping down

Click on the airplane icon

Tap the airplane icon again after a few seconds

Update iOS

The latest iOS version should be installed on your iPhone (or iPad). The problem you are experiencing will arise if you do not fix it.

You will need a stable internet connection and enough space for the firmware file before I explain how to update iOS.

Software can be updated in two ways.

Method 1:

Go to the Settings app

On the General page, click

Select the Software Update option

When the firmware file appears, click it

Method 2:

Open iTunes on your computer (make sure it’s the latest version to avoid errors)

All other programs should be closed (they would interrupt each other otherwise).

Connect your mobile phone to your computer

You will need to wait until iTunes recognizes your device

When the pop-up appears, click on it

Click on the Summary tab

Click on Update
