Three ingredients, that’s it! That’s all that’s required! But feel free to add the sea salt flakes as well for a nice salty and sweet contrast!

  • 14 ounces can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 13 ounces white chocolate
  • ⅔ cup peanut butter
  • sea salt flakes, optional

Instructions for this 3 ingredient fudge

In just a few simple steps, this old fashioned peanut butter fudge is ready for the refrigerator to cool! You also have a choice of how to melt the ingredients; either by stove-top or with the microwave. See both instructions below!

  1. Grease or line with parchment paper or wax paper, an 8 inch square baking tin.  Set aside.

Microwave Method

If you’d like to melt the ingredients, making microwave peanut butter fudge, here’s how:

  1. Add the condensed milk, white chocolate and peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl.  Microwave in 30 second blocks, stirring each time, until the chocolate has melted.

Stove-Top Method

If you prefer to melt the ingredients on the stove-top, here’s how to do that:

  1. Create a double boiler by placing a mixing bowl over a saucepan with simmering water, ensuring the bottom of the bowl doesn’t come into contact with the water.  Add the condensed milk, white chocolate and peanut butter.  Stir until melted, then remove from heat.
  1. Pour the fudge mixture into the square pan and spread evenly in the bottom of the pan. If desired, sprinkle with the sea salt flakes, and then place in the fridge to set for 2 hours.
  1. Once the fudge has set, slice with a sharp knife and enjoy!

Substitutions

  • We used creamy peanut butter for a creamy texture but you can use crunchy peanut butter if you prefer!
  • This creamy peanut butter fudge is best made with a good quality eating chocolate, but white cooking chocolate (such as white chocoalte chips) can also be used.

Variations

  • For something different, the creamy fudge could be sprinkled with chopped peanuts before placing in the fridge.
  • You can also add a splash of vanilla extract if you prefer but it’s not necessary!

Storage

If you have leftover fudge, you can store it in an airtight container, a plastic zip top bag or cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Then, simply grab a small bite for a delicous treat when you’re ready.
