Red Roof Inn Knoxville Central - Papermill Road is a pet-friendly hotel.Pros:Breakfast was good but would prefer fresh fruit or yogurt option. Checkout was fast and simple. Staff was friendly. For the price, it was better than expected. Cons:Decor is dated. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, moisture damage was evident in bathroom and was gross. The lock on the door wasn't secure, traveling alone I felt uncomfortable and would not stay there again. Excellent front desk staff upon check in. Room was super quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept great! We didn’t need anything fancy but it was nice that there was a fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold. Easy access to dining, an easy jump to the interstate, and no issues finding a parking spot. The area was also very safe.
